One Week and Counting
Yes, the BaM Wedding is nearly here! After much anticipation, planning, and coordinating, it will all soon culminate in about a five hour period. We much appreciate everyone who has already helped in some way, big or small. We REALLY cannot do this alone, and we wouldn't want to. We look forward to spending time with friends and family, and sharing this most special of occasions.

We hope you had a great Christmas. Meg and I went down to Georgia. We saw Lord Of The Rings on Sunday afternoon, a most excellent film in my opinion. We attended the Christmas Eve service at Shirley Hills Baptist Church and I was able to catch up with a few old friends. Then on Christmas morning, we opened presents and then traveled to Mitchell, GA to my aunt's house for the Christmas family gathering. My cousin Elaine threw us a wedding shower on Christmas day.
Now we're back, trying to get the apartment in order and finishing plans for the wedding and reception.
New Year's Eve plans are still up in the air at this point, but I suspect they might include a game of some sort [Settlers of Catan or Carcassonne, maybe].

I hope that you have a wonderful New Year's Celebration.
Over and out...

Correction
As I was adding the new quote to the main page, I found that the link to email me was wrong. I apologize if you have clicked on that to try to send me email in the past. It is fixed now. To set the record straight, my email address is:

isbert@hotmail.com

Other emails that might be of use...

Meg's email is megorunna@hotmail.com
Our new joint email is bamdreifuss@hotmail.com

However, I will be primarily using my isbert account.
Meg is checking both hers and bamdreifuss.

As always, we would love to hear from you.

Hasta la fiesta!

I'll Be Home For Christmas
Christmas is about a week away now. FYI, Meg and I will be traveling to Warner Robins, GA on Saturday and returning late on Christmas Day. My cousin Elaine is throwing us a wedding shower on Christmas Day as well. We look forward to spending this time with friends and family.

This past weekend, I changed addresses again. It's the fourth address I'll have in Raleigh. I am back in the 27612 zip code, coming full circle from when I roomed with Jay Simmons about two years ago--when I first moved to Raleigh. If you need the new contact information, please email me.

The move was exhausting, and we still have a majority of our items in boxes strewn about, but I like this new place quite a bit. It's a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment with a wooded view and attached garage. AND the rent is about $200 cheaper than my last place.
Meg likes it a lot, too, and we are trying to figure out where everything will go.
We are very excited about the wedding, which is only 18 DAYS away, and seeing everybody.

Well, that's about it for now. If I don't talk to you before then, have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It's Christmas!
It's just over TWO WEEKS until Christmas. Can you believe it? The Christmas season seemed to come yesterday, and it will pass by us around tomorrow. I pray that the importance of the season does not pass us by.

Thirty-Two Days to Go!
It's hard to believe that in a little over a month, Meg and I will be wed. I am sure that the time will fly by. Our weekends are filled with wedding preparations. To give you a peek, this is what we accomplished recently:

  • Decided on food for the reception
  • Finalized honeymoon plans
  • Bought material for ringbearer's pillow
  • Bought ushers gifts
  • Made, addressed, and mailed Rehearsal Dinner invitations

We'll be pretty busy until the wedding, but that doesn't mean we don't have time for friends, so if you get a chance, email us.

Have a great day!
