Wacky Humor
Okay, I hate to be repetitive, but I had to post a link to my new favorite homestarrunner toon. And if you haven't checked this out yet, what are you waiting for? You need to start now, so you'll understand the self-referencing, kid-friendly humor.

The Dreifusses went Down to Georgia

We're headed for Augusta for the Annual Griffin Reunion (that's my mom's side of the family). We're looking forward to fried chicken and visiting with relatives we haven't seen in a year. It'll be a quick trip, as we're heading down today and returning tomorrow.

Related Jeopardesque Category: My home state of Georgia

Answer: This Georgia city is known as the 'Classic City of the South' for its antebellum mansions, showcasing many examples of Greek Revival and Federal architecture.

homestarrunner
Do you like hilarious cartoons? Do you like wasting time looking at mildly humorous cartoony things? Well, if you said yes to either of these questions, you're at least somewhat like me. And furthermore, you might like homestarrunner. It's a web phenom. By the way, this is one of my favorite homestarrunner cartoons. And the strong bad email is a weekly treat.

d3 Update
Well, it seems that our little one has grown quite a bit over the weekend. Meg commented that (s)he seems to have had growth spurts every time she dozed off [and that was a lot this weekend -- we took naps on Saturday AND Sunday]. Meg is sporting maternity clothes now. We're at 10 1/2 weeks! I can't wait to be a daddy!

email problem
It has come to my attention that dreifuss.org emails aren't forwarding properly today. If you need to get in touch with someone with a dreifuss.org email address, you can do so with these email addresses:

  • Bert............... bertspieler AT yahoo DOT com
  • Meg............... megorunna AT yahoo DOT com
  • Mildred........... mdreifus8 AT hotmail DOT com
  • Ben................ bdreifuss AT hotmail DOT com

Emails aren't in normal format b/c there are 'spam bots' that crawl the web searching for addresses to send out unsolicited email.

updates
FYI, I updated the 'update & events' page, the 'friends & family' link on that page, and posted a list of online games on the 'gaming' page. Also, we are ready to release some BIG NEWS...

We're going to be parents! We're having a baby! Meg's pregnant!

Answers to common questions:

  • We're due on November 14th
  • We hope to find out the gender sometime in June

We are of course very excited by the coming of our child! We'll keep you updated on the progress.

What a Card!

The US Military has been given decks of playing cards with the pictures of high ranking Iraqi officials, in order to find them and capture or kill them. Saddam is of course, the Ace of Spades.

Which brings us to this week's Jeopardesque...

I apologize for the lack of updates to the front page of dreifuss.org. You may pick from one of the following excuses: vacation, laziness, work, and/or hobby. For the record, however, I have posted new pictures on the picpage. Enjoy them, as well as this week's Jeopardesque...
