"...it was proved that the pattern is by nature."
It has been said that life is 90% how you take it. Attitude makes all the difference. I hope that you're having a good Monday. God bless.

in Emily's honor
Yesterday, my coworkers had a baby shower for little Emily. I would like to publicly thank them all for their kindness and generosity. Emily will be thanking them soon, too. :)

delinquent
I apologize for the lack of updates. Troy will be back for at least two episodes, if I can figure out the technical side of what I want to do. This week has been quite busy, as you can see from the Friends and Family update. I will try my best to have all new updates, trivia, and Troy adventure next week.
Have a great weekend!
Meg has been good about keeping the Baby Blog updated [see link at left].

all is well
The hurricane passed us without too much of a fuss, at least for Raleigh that is. The church retreat was cancelled, and we were really looking forward to it. But the weekend has been grand so far. Rented the latest Madden NFL game for the PS2, ate Chinese buffet last night and saw the movie Bruce Almighty at the buck-fifty theater. [I highly recommend the film.] Ran errands today and picked up a new two-player board game. Then rearranged the house to move the computer desk to the living room to make way for baby.
All is right in the world.

lazy Jeopardesque
As some anticipate the fall TV season...
Difficulty: Extremely Easy [I'm serious - don't peek unless you've taken a guess]
Answer: This invention by Robert Adler in 1956 led him to say,"I can be blamed for the couch potato."

Tarmac to Catan?
Troy: Well, since it's an island, there's only two ways to get there, and this is the fastest way.
Problem is, I don't see Catan on these screens anywhere. I need a travel agent.

NO Labor Weekend
Ever obeyed your pang for a lawn fest? Guilt is not a ploy. The mood was heavy as the geisha's ma died in bed. A roar couldn't rouse her. Gone because of the pox fever. Or was it the dented axe? Her last meal was a wet yam, culled from the crock. The zen magi notified us and her next of kin. An ending had begun.
