Potty Magic
It has been a very eventful Memorial Day Weekend around the Dreifuss household! On Friday night, Nan arrived from Melbourne. Though she is still hobbling from our her recent injuries, she was ready to shower love on our little one.
On Saturday, we made our regular trip to Toys 'R' Us and picked up a training toilet (with another item or two). :) We had absolutely NO expectation that Emily Anne would be interested in it anytime soon.
We were wrong.
On Monday morning, she sat down on the toilet and went tinkle. All on her own - without any prodding or encouraging from her parents. We were elated! You have never seen a more shocked or thrilled bunch of people in your lives! SHE TINKLED!
Our plans were adjusted to include a trip to Walmart to buy a pack of pull-ups and pretty underwear.
On Monday night, we went to the mall for some shopping and ....SHE WENT TINKLE AGAIN! IN A BIG TOILET! SO EXCITING!
We're not sure what we've done to deserve such grace, but could it be that our daughter is starting to become toilet trained at 18 months? NO WAY!
